The two chairs have it presence and absence at the same time - they are tangible, yet empty. The cloud in the room serves as a metaphor for what remains after the words are spoken: unfulfilled desires, lingering emotions, and unspoken thoughts that refuse to dissipate. The time has passed, but the essence of these conversations still remains, as if trapped in the room. The checkered floor, duality or choice, hints at the different paths these people may have taken after their discussions. The fleeting illumination that dreams and aspirations bring before fading into obscurity.
